anybody else excited about the post season? sorry, wrong tribe.
you know why it's always cool at san francisco baseball games? all those giant fans.
did you hear the giants hired betty crocker to be their new hitting coach? they heard betty crocker makes a better batter. i hear she's also an expert on bundting.
some people say baseball's not important, but hey, they talk about it in the bible. (ever read the bible? it's a good book.) you know, 'in the big inning...'
i took my spanish friend to the ballgame and he said he thought the fans were really polite. 'after they all stood up they asked me 'jose, can you see?'

Re: Baseball
Tue, October 3, 2006 - 2:10 PMI am having a ball with these puns, they strike me as funny. I don't play baseball - in fact, when I knocked over my Coke that was the last time I made a pop-fly. I once hit a homer and he said "D'oh!" -

Re: Baseball
Tue, October 3, 2006 - 3:26 PMat least you didn't use foul or base language. it shows you're centered and not a mound of hostility.

Thu, October 5, 2006 - 8:30 AMWe'll now have a moment of silence for the recent demise of the Philadelphia Filets; they got carved up in the recent wild card race. Couldn't steak their claim to a playoff spot.
I Met a New Yorker once; but he Yanked my chain for being from Philly. -

Re: there's a new star in heaven tonight
Fri, October 13, 2006 - 1:41 PMHe'd have to put his knife, bandages and antiseptic in an autoclave to sterilze his bris-kit.
Then there was the deaf-mute surgeon: a no-tell mohel.
Or the one who tended to get involved too much in family disputes: an embroiled mohel. -

Re: there's a new star in heaven tonight
Mon, October 16, 2006 - 1:02 PMThen there were the three knuclehead surgeons: Curly, Larry and Mohel.
Or the fictional British trio of Mr. Toad, Ratty and Mohel. "There is nothing, absolutely nothing, quite so pleasant as messing about with a knife...." -
