MY WORD! and my music are on kalw, 91.7 fm in san francisco, friday nights from 8-9. kalw.org for those not lucky enough to live in san francisco.
for those who do not know, they are very droll british panel game shows recorded in the 1970s and 1980s, and each My Word! ends with the panelists telling a long silly story that ends with an extremely bad pun. (i actually have several books with some of the stories.) still a hoot after all these years. they are repeating them for about the zillionth time, and i will be sorry when they stop.
added note: if you ask british people about them they simply roll their eyes. definitely not 'cool.'
